How to get swine flu…and other fun stuff.
The ramping up of the swine flu hype is just right around the corner…..so if you are expecting great tips on how to stay healthy this flu season….well you can go (re)read these articles:
- How to repair and maximize your immune system
- How to be prepared for the swine flu
- The $4 flu solution
Otherwise we are here to do something to help your immune system right now….make you laugh! Sometimes in all the seriousness around us….we just need a break and laugh…so today, enjoy your break and feel free to pass it around and brighten up someone else’s as well.

I think this may be the best line any doctor can use to help "really" motivate people to take back control of their health!

Nothing like going to the gym for a great workout....but those pesky stairs going to it, who needs it. Sign of the times?
and just when I thought I had seen it all for exercise machines….this “revolutionary” item comes along…..I guess it’s cheaper than buying a jackhammer.

The best part about the 1 day diet is that the pack contains 60 capsules. That’s quite a lot of pill-popping!

haha… too funny.
My post today included that shake weight video:

I can’t believe someone approved that video? But then again, we’re talking about it so marketing job well done.

OMG…the Shake Weight? Remember those machines with the vibrating belts for stomach reduction? I wonder if you could use the Shake Weight with one of those? What an awesome combination that would be.

@ Deborah – funny enough…that type of workout has gotten a modern face-lift recently…..and only costs you about $10k! Grab a martini and get a workout in….and have your drink ready when you are done!

LOL @ the video.
Scott K and MOD, I’m really liking this site. I especially dig how you guys avoid the extremes that we all see at other forums (Crossfit being the #1 culprit) that fail to distinguish between insanity and practicality. Every article you guys post is well thought out and delivers quality information. Cheers.

@ Scott – Thanks for the comment. You will find although we have our own ideas on what does work….that does not blind us to other ways that could as well. Plus the great diversity of the community comments makes it all a learning experience for us all….as there is usually never just one “right” way for health/weight loss.

Heh… actually I wouldn’t mind the escalator after a crushing leg workout. Like hell… I can barely drive my car after.
I do like the Beat Off 5000… err… I mean the shake weight. Looks promising in her hands. Perfect marketing right there.
…not.

Hey Mike – Glad I’m not the only one who thought the shake weight looked like something from an adult movie
