I need to. I need to lower my testosterone levels.

I am a teenage boy, who believes that becoming a research scientist is one way I can benefit society. However, my high level of testosterone, in conjunction with my adhd, interferes greatly with my ability to get along with people, and study.

I am easily angered, and I find attractive females to be far to large of a distraction when It comes to actually accomplishing society-benefiting goals.

Well, one reason to lower your testosterone is for G.I.D. not something most looking for ways to keep their T amount high would likely expect but G.I.D. is Gender Identity Disorder, what most would know as Transexual or Transgender.

Those wanting to prepare themselves for Hormone treatment would greatly benefit from this post on how to slowly work themselves onto Estrogen and Anti-Androgens so they aren't jumping straight into heavy meds from high levels of testosterone, like shifting gears in a car. This is also a psychological appealing method as you can feel like you have some control over whats going on and not waiting forever on Dr. Footmouth to give you the seal of approval.

Anyways, great info for everyone and really have to say that those looking to lower your T levels should avoid damaging your body by excessive drinking and not sleeping, stick to the healthy Soy diets and weight loss.

i actually looked this up because i'm constantly horny and/or pissed off and being that i have a kid in my life now my sex life sucks at the age of 20, i went from sex the majority of the week to being lucky if i get any in a month. i'm getting sick of being horny so i'm trying to figure out a healthy way to bring my hormones down so i don't freak out so much.

This is a really cool article :) I was actually looking for ways to lower T in woman but im glad I read this anyways and yes I read the whole thing and ALL the comments! people (men/woman) need to understand that if your looking for ways to lower your T due to health reasons then look specifically for that reason i.e lower testosterone due to enlarged prostate or natural remedies for PCOS. Thats what I do and I only came across this article by searching how do I lower testosterone. If your looking for natural treatments for health problems it would be better to research specific treatments for it and see what worked for other people :) getting mad at Scott for writing a different approach to show UNhealthy choices is stupid. Even if your not trying to lower your T why would you do these things? lol Common sense people!!!! of course unless you want to or already are :)

I am a 9 year old boy who is already gone through almost all of puberty... this is kind of embarrassing for me as my 16 year old brother still has not and I would like to reduce my over-testosterone levles

I am a guy of 66 with a predisposition for a prostate cancer, gonna see my urologist on Monday. High testosterone level, with all the benefits, like muscles growth, body vitality, sex drive, etc. courses, unfortunately, a speedy growth of prostate cancer sells. The hormone testosterone should be reduced in people (men) with a prostate cancer, and there are even medicines for that. So, too much of a good stuff (testosterone) is not good for you - go and figure it out.
The word is the balance. Some muscle builder, who uses hormones (steroids), subject themselves to a development of different cancers.
The article is written a tong in cheek, but I took it literally, and for a good measure.

Thank you, Scott

Branden, actually some people have really bad acne and they don't realize that the acne is caused by so much testosterone which makes your skin oily and therefor makes your pores bigger and its easier to breakout. i used to workout and really breakout over my face, now i dont workout and my face is clear.
